Ever sit with your fingers on your keyboard… wracking your brain for words… and inspiration eludes you?

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how many great sources you look at for inspiration, how many ideas you’ve got filed away… you’re simply stuck and not “feeling” it!
Here’s a few simple ways to get the words/ideas flowing again:
1. What’s got you fired up?
What have you ranted about lately?
Had any of those conversations with yourself where you wish people would just understand X or that people would stop doing Y?
Share that passionate rant with people and help them – don’t let that great advice stay in your head!
2. What’s got your community fired up?
Look around and see what the “hot topics” are lately and allow those to inspire you.
Share your own thoughts, a different perspective or some guidance to help people with it.
3. Is there a different way to approach it?
Do you usually do written posts? Try a video!
Usually do video? Try something written.
Or audio with SoundCloud.
Or a screenflow with Loom.
4. What’s useful you’ve run across lately?
If your brain just needs a break, try sharing one of these:
– a YouTube video
– a TED talk
– a resource or tool you like
– some cool links/bloggers you’ve run across in the past week
– links to your best past posts on a topic
5. Is it time for a “time out”?
What’s your favorite way to relax?
Take a walk. Go to the library. Grab a mocha. Read a book.
Do something to recharge your batteries, then share about that.
What’s your favorite way to recharge and get inspired again?
