Want Content that Attracts and Converts Your Ideal Clients? Stop Posting Fluff–Start Answering These Questions Instead!

Much of the “advice” we get about creating content is focused on filling up a calendar with daily posts, fluff that’s just to get noticed, engagement bait, or designed to be pretty…

But your content needs to do more than that if you’re in business. It needs to connect with people and help them know if what you’ve got is right for them.

Here are five questions to ask yourself if you want to create content that grabs your people… and helps lead them towards working with you.

1. What questions are they already asking?

If one person is curious, more people out there want to know, too.

Not sure? Go checkout some Facebook groups that you know your people hang out in and see what the questions are related to your expertise.

2. What are the questions you know people should be asking, but they maybe don’t know to ask yet?

Especially if you offer a service, what don’t people know to ask about yet? What helps them make the best decision on hiring? What are red flags they should watch for?

What have you ranted about recently? Wishing more people were aware of?

3. What do people need to know is true about you/your business?

What’s your background, life experience, unique approach, etc that make you a great choice to work with?

4. What do people need to know is true about your product/service/offer?

What’s the origin of it (why did you create it), what’s the experience like, what’s the track record?

What’s different about it? Who does it work for? Who does it not work for? When does it work? What do they need to have in place for it to work for them, right now?

5. What do people need to know is true about themselves?

Many times we don’t make the leap to get the information or support we need not because we don’t believe in the product/provider but because we don’t know if it’ll work for us specifically, or if we’ll do the work, or if we’re capable of it.

Use stories to connect and show your audience why something hasn’t worked for them before but this time it can be different. Were they missing a key piece? Not aware of something they needed to know?

If you answer these 5, you’ll have endless content ideas, and not just be creating content to create content… but creating content that converts the right people into amazing clients who you can help achieve great results!
